The end of time
Biblical prophecies speak of the end times as an era of extraordinary and even dramatic events.
The travail of humanity is repeatedly mentioned in the biblical texts that highlight it as the time of the "Great Tribulation" that will come after the time of the great universal apostasy, that is, when there will be the total denial of religious faith.
After the tribulation there will be the rise of the Antichrist.

When it will come
In the coming times, as reported in the book of Revelation, difficult days will come when people reject good and embrace evil with an insatiable greed for money. The love of money, in fact, is the root of all kinds of evil and will lead many away from faith, however money itself is not an evil but, as Paul says, love for money is. So don't let money take control of your life because if you become addicted to money, it will ruin yourself and everyone who lives in it.
In this time and in our society there is an acceleration of wealth inequality, as it is foretold and described in the phase of recent times.
At the beginning of the book of Revelation, in chapter six, what will happen shortly before the tribulation is announced: "When the Lamb opened the third seal" Come! ". And immediately I saw a black horse appear, and the one who was on it was holding a scales. I heard a voice among the four living beings saying: "two pounds of wheat for a denarius, six pounds of barley for a denarius, but don't touch the oil and wine".
This revelation announces that before the great tribulation famine will come upon the world, represented by the black horse, food resources will be scarce and many will be thrown into misery, hunger and despair. The value of a money in those days was the daily allowance that was paid for a day of work and the text indicates that with one money it will be possible to buy two measures of wheat or three measures of barley which are not enough to feed a family. Oil and wine were luxury goods intended for wealthy people and will not be damaged.
It is therefore evident that in that moment the poor will become poorer and poorer and rich people will become richer and richer and the economic disparity will be enormous and precisely this inequality will be the origin of chaos and tribulation. However, it will not be the only dependence on money that will lead to the inequality responsible for suffering, but also the adoration of the peoples towards the antichrist.
The Bible reveals that this guide will be revealed, it will deceive the whole world into declaring itself a God and people will do everything for him. In Revelation, chapter thirteen, he is described as the beast that rises from the sea and this supreme dictator will rule the world during the last days but he will not be alone, in fact John describes a second beast that will come out of the earth and will be the false prophet who will have the sole purpose of directing humanity towards the antichrist.
Here is what will happen, Revelation chapter thirteen from ver 16:18: "It caused everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and servant, to receive an imprint (mark) on their right hand or forehead, so that no one could buy or sell, except who had the print, the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is wisdom! Who has intelligence, calculate the number of the beast; because it is a human number. And his name is six hundred and sixty-six".
Most of the deaths during the tribulation will be from starvation. Those who do not have the imprint of the beast will not be able to transact so everyone will be forced to receive this mark if they want to buy, sell or have an economic access but the mark of the beast will also indicate that the one who wears it will be its worshiper and those who reject it will be considered traitors and doomed to starve.
It's a terrible story that will undoubtedly happen! What we know for sure is that future events cast their shadows back in time in order to reveal to the world the beginning of what will happen and this could already be identified in the events experienced today. The more the world moves away from God's values, the closer that time gets, and if the time comes, what would your choice be? The world or would there be a determination to choose the Lord?
The cult of wealth, in our day, is growing and tries to capture everyone, so we must try not to fall into its vortexes by accepting the biblical teaching of "contentment", as the book of Hebrews suggests: "your conduct is not dominated by the love of money, be content with the things you have. ”Greed creeps in very subtly and you have to pay attention because it is a condition that enters the mind and lives to instill the desire to have what someone else has.
The writing of the Hebrews therefore invites us to replace greed with contentment which means not worrying about what you don't have or what you might have or what you would like to have, because the important thing is God.
Paul wrote: “Rejoice in the Lord, I repeat, rejoice. Your joy is known to all men. The Lord is near. Don't worry about anything; but in every circumstance make your needs present to God with prayers, with supplications, with thanksgiving. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus".
(Phil. 4, 4-7).
