The Paradise

The Paradise

Paradise

Diary of Santa Faustina Kowalska

He wrote in the "Diary": Neither graces, nor revelations, nor ecstasies, nor any other gift bestowed upon it make it perfect, but the intimate union of my soul with God. Gifts are only an ornament of the soul, but they do not constitute its substance or its perfection. My holiness and perfection consists in a close union of my will with the will of God.

Vision of Paradise (27.XI.1936)

"Today, in spirit, I've been in paradise and I’ve seen the unimaginable beauty and happiness that awaits us after death. I've seen how all the creatures render unceasing honor and glory to God. I've seen how great is happiness in God, that pours in all the creatures, making them happy.

Then all the honor and glory that has made happy the creatures go back to the source and they enter into the depths of God, contemplating the inner life of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, that will never get to understand or examine. This source of happiness is unchanging in its essence, but it’s always new and flows to the beatitudes of all the creatures.

Now I understand what St. Paul said: "What eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor ever entered the heart of man what God has prepared for those who love Him." And God gave me to know all that has infinite value in His eyes, love, and love again.

And nothing is comparable to an act of pure love of God. What ineffable Lord favors granted to a soul that loves Him sincerely. Happy souls here on earth and enjoy private His favors.

They are small and humble souls. Great is the Majesty of God, I've met more thoroughly than the heavenly spirits who worship Him according to the level of his grace and hierarchy, in which they are divided.

My soul, when I’ve seen the power and greatness of God, has not experienced fear or dread: no, absolutely not. My soul has been filled with serenity and love, and I know even more the greatness of God and rejoice for what He is like and joy immensely for His greatness and I am happy to be so small, because I'm small: He picks me up and put me next to His heart.

Oh my God, what a pity I feel for men who do not believe in eternal life. How much I pray for them: to enlighten the ray of Mercy and God in his womb of paternal embrace.

Oh love, Oh Queen of virtue. Love knows no fear: through all the choirs of angels standing guard before his throne. We do not fear anyone, that reaches God and immersed in Him as in its only treasure.

The Cherubim with the flaming sword, who stands guard in Paradise, has no power over it. Pure love of God, incomparable, what a greatness you have.Oh, if the souls knew Your Power".
