On the road of the reentry from Belgium in Rome, I had the fortune to stop to Ars.

That humble priest who confessed more than ten hours a day, little nutrition and devotion to just a few hours of rest, had succeeded, in a difficult historical period, to arouse a sort of spiritual revolution in France and not just in France.
Thousands of people passed by Ars and kneeled down to his confessional. Against the backdrop of secularization and anti-clericalism of the nineteenth century, his testimony is a truly revolutionary event.
