Brief Statistics. Il disco è uscito per la prima volta in versione picture-disc nel 2002, prima col motivo delle piramidi di derivazione spagnola, poi con il picture di derivazione americana, con il motivo classico, ma con una improbabile copertina forata a forma di croce. Contemporaneamente uscirono le versioni in vinile colorato, di derivazione tedesca, con copertina bianca con adesivo, tra i primi dischi falsi sul mercato. E' stato ristampato poco tempo dopo in vinile colorato, con un prodotto di derivazione americana, con una improbabile etichetta nera della Capitol "Airplay Use Only", in numerose variazioni di colore. Anche il picture-disc fu ristampato con una terza versione di derivazione brasiliana. In tempi recenti, degne di nota furono altre quattro versioni, quasi tutte in vinili colorati: la prima di derivazione giapponese, con il motivo del famoso raro disco "Live Cover" della Toshiba (picture-disc e vinile colorato, e perfino in vinile nero); la seconda di derivazione australiana, che copiava in maniera ingannevole il classico vinile rosa australiano del 1988, con etichetta della Harvest (tra queste anche in vinile rosa, molto simile all'edizione ufficiale australiana); la terza di derivazione argentina, con l'etichetta giallo-verde della Harvest; e la quarta di derivazione filippina, con una incredibile copertina ed etichetta uguali all'originale. Anche qui uscì la versione in vinile dorato, nel 2011, appartenente ad una improbabile serie che ha visto anche altri album. Le ultime versioni diverse sono due: una in circolazione dal 2012, di derivazione giapponese, prodotta da una improbabile casa chiamata "Real Moon Records"; un'altra, in circolazione dal 2017, è il picture-disc di derivazione australiana. Si tratta comunque del disco più copiato dei Floyd. |
