SEISMIC PRECURSORS

This intresting activity was started around 2000, by a gruop of amateur radio from north end central Italy when they know their town have an hight seismic risk, a founder of this group is my friend Adamo IK2SBB (ex IK1).

Isn't nothing of particular or not so difficult but :

In pratice we don't listen to a dx station like in hf, but we listen the moviments made by the earth.

This thing don't replace the work of seismologist, but in a future could complement it, when we will have lot of evidence .

The setup for this work are relative simple, but you need to build it by yourself, in my Download page you can find all you need, lot of documentto study and the draws to build your reciver , antenna etc, etc

This is composed by:

- An U.L.F. receiver

_ An A/D converter

_ An antenna

- a P.C. (is good also if is not of last generation )

- it's relative software for RX signal ealboration
