Topography

Cave of palaeo-anthropological interest in which have been made methodical excavations; into it descending meanders follow pits that bring to big halls.

In several visits, the author learned to appreciate the speleological and biospeleological value of this cavity.

Here is a list of the main elements of the fauna directly observed by the author:

CRUSTACEA ISOPODA: Buddelundiella armata over debrits of wood at the basis of the first pit.

DIPLOPODA: Plectogona sp. in all the extension of the cave, by 150 m from the entrance to the last hall. Polydesmus cfr. troglobius above the first pit on debrits of wood (new station discovered by the author).

CHILOPODA: Lithobius sp.

ARACHNIDA ARANEAE: Linyphiidae indet. at the basis of the first pit.

INSECTA TRICHOPTERA indet. near the first pit.

INSECTA ORTHOPTERA: Dolichopoda ligustica near the entrance.
