Participants of the workshop will discover how generic social work values relate to their particular culture and personal values and beliefs. There will be discussion on work values, life experiences and we will see the differences - the diversity- on ethical issues. Special attention will be given to the realities in Children’s Rights issues. How children’s needs are perceived and ways in which social workers, communities or societies fulfil these needs.


 CIF TURKEY speaker/facilitator:  Nüket Atalay, B.A. in Psychology and M.S.W. from Yeshiva University. Work experience: 10 years in hospital social work; 15 years in school counselling; 12 years as President of an educational foundation on a voluntary basis. Participant of CIP-Cleveland in 1963; founder of the Turkish National Branch of CIF; Past President of CIF Turkey.
