A big problem in our society is the lack of memory. Events pass over. We get much more engaged in preparing and advertise things, than in thinking later about what we have done!

It doesn’t matter if something is good or bad, if it worked fine or it didn’t.

People remember no events, no words. And despite of the overwhelming text, audio and video documentation, gone by facts are more and more considered as “opinions”, as in culture as in politics.

 

On the contrary, to have a precise idea of the past is very helpful to understand better the present and to project the future. And not only to repeat things, but also to get aware of what, anxious about continuously renewing, maybe without knowing we are losing about.
