PAOLO BENEVENTI
Graduate at the DAMS in Bologna in 1980 with a thesis about children and theatre, he took part from 1981 to 1985 in the group of animazione/visual communication L'alfabeto of Brescia. Then he has been continuing as a free lance, deepening with boys and children the matters branching from the animazione teatrale, as expression, knowledge, and didactics, developping experiences with the books, the natural and human environment, the mass media, and widely using technical tools as video recording and computer.
In cooperation with schools, libraries and other agencies he made several quasi professional videos, as well as books written and edited by the children themselves and CD Rom's from the work in the schools. About computers, he tries to explore with the children and the young paths of "active multimedia", fast linked with the truly multimedia features of the experiences of animazione (body + text + pictures + sound + video).
Since 1999 is in the Comitato Scientifico of Legambiente.
