Milan 1988 with 14 municipal nursery schools: Flying with Honeybees we discover the natural World. With the TRAPPER co- Then we go in the schools and make the children to play the bees in all their different
roles, from the workers through the soldiers, the drones and the queen (that always
moves in the cells laying eggs!) So the bee- The drones meanwhile hang about doing nothing, until a new queen is grown, so they can “fly” at last after her because they want to merry! When days later we all go to visit a didactic hive, seeing the town of the bees through the glass they recognise almost everything, and when the man of the bees, for joking, tells something wrong, they correct him! More than 600 children gone to see the bees, and no one stung! |
