Macross Valkyrie Wallpapers

You can download this high quality, high resolution images to use as a backdrop for your system. All pictures are in Jpeg format, with a slight compression to provide small file size and low compression artifacts. This might be a problem for Win95 users who should convert them in BMP format, unless you have IE4.x installed or an image viewer allowing you to select wallpapers "on the fly".

IMPORTANT: Some jpeg decoding systems produce visible artifacts even at 90% quality and above. That's wrong, so you have to use a decent decoding system to obtain the best results. See an example here.

VF-11 Over Mountains
I used Terragen to generate the backdrop of this picture, then imported the terrain model and camera data in Lightwave to correctly place the VF-11.
I used a couple of area lights to create a lighting scheme matching the one in the backdrop.
