After the war, Frank and Margie bought a small restaurant (coffee shop)
called "Cafe Verona".
Was in the financial district of the suburb of Los Angeles, and served
the managers and their secretaries for breakfast and lunch.
Frank and Margie took this place for several years. Joan and Gilbert
also worked with their parents when they were younger, playing the
various tasks which included a restaurant.
But soon the children grew. Joan went to university and became a teacher
in school.
She married Verne Winchell, a businessman, in 1966. They had two
children, Christina, born in 1969 and Ronald, born in 1972.
Gilbert, however, obtained his degree in Marketing from the University
and for several years worked for a private company. In 1980 he started
his own business management and consultancy in the field of business.
In 1981 He married Karen Schick. They have three sons, Christopher, born
in 1985, Anthony, born in 1986, and Nicholas, born in 1989.
Frank and Margie finally able to close their restaurant, but Frank was
not a person who loved to stay without doing anything, and wished to
continue working.
Indeed soon found work as a manager at a restaurant 's Edward's
Steakhouse, where he worked until retire completely at the age of 70
years.
At that time Frank and Margie devoted to their grandchildren. Affairs
Verne brought him to travel often, he and Joan were often outside the
country so that the grandparents took care of their children.
Even Frank and Margie traveled often. One of the most memorable trips
that they made was when they went to Italy and visited their homeland. |
