  • Beef Stew Recipe : : 2 pounds lean sirloin tip 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 large onion, chopped 4 medium carrots, sliced 2 medium potatoes, cut into pieces 2 medium celery stalks, sliced 2 cups small mushrooms 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1 teaspoon ground mustard 1 cup water 1 cup dry red wine 1 (16 ounce) can no-salt added stewed tomatoes 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour Trim all excess fat from beef and cut into cubes

  • 1/3 cup flour 1 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 2 pounds round steak, trimmed of excess fat, cut into 1" squares 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 4-1/2 cups beef broth 1 bay leaf 2 medium onions, chopped 4 carrots, trimmed and sliced 2 stalks celery, with leaves, halved lengthwise and thickly sliced 4 cups 1" cubes of peeled Idaho baking potatoes 1/4 cup Polly's Toasted Flour (for recipe, click ) 1/2 envelope brown gravy mix 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper In a plastic food storage bag, combine the flour, paprika, salt and pepper
