From Biennal to Biennal through Adriatic sea and the Balcan
Journey to Ext Venezia-Sarajevo-Tirana-Salonicco

A journey of listening to a changing, fragmented and offended territory.

An itinerary through the Balkans in the occasion of the Venice, Sarajevo and Tirana Biennial Art Exhibits, which to us became sites of reception, opportunity of encounters and exchange between artists and civil society, beyond the ideological and political barriers which cross this racked region. A unique occasion to point out to artists and cultivated men a pathway along which art could contribute to "recover and rebound those ancient submerged ropes, broken or wrenched by ignorance and intolerance".
(Matvejevic)

A trip under the shade of the Flying Carpet, an ideal open port between Mediterranean’s seashore, a sphere of encounter and interchange, a half-breed and a migrant, an ear devoted to listening to the territory it crosses and to the stories it meets.
