The Staker Flying Carpet
In the Fourth Entìty
of Alma Suljevic.

A flying carpet arrived in Sarajeyo. It is a carpet rích of storíes picked up travelling through the Mediterranean Sea. Each stop along the way the carpet collects and weaves in his mesh new voices, new tales and hopes that creates a possibie space of confrontation and exchange.
The carpet is now searching a place where to land to offer his shade to the cìty and its inhabitants. Inside and around the city there are still one million mines hidden in the grass of the garden, in the courtyards, in the mountain, along the river, in between houses. Alma Sulievic calls this min(e)d space the Fourth Entity.
The FIying Carpet would like to be Stalker's contrìbution to the Idea of a space cleared from the mínes siege also those wanders in our heads. A rescued space given back to mental and materiaI of every day life. A space that could become tomorrow a common land.
The carpet will be habitable for about one month in the Mine ActIon Centre (MAC) for a concrete contribute in a demining, just about the tíme to clear 1000 square meter's of contamínated land.
