THE VOICES
The silence of the wood;
is nothing human
in the snowy night;
and the memory searches
in the absence of signs
for the fleeing of time
up to the crash that
broke this earth
with seas peaks;
afterwards the moon
outlines the firs,
and sets
as the early sun
out of the mountain
appears
like a crystal;
empty in the mind
flashes
the earliest past,
without words
without history;
the snow creaks
under a heavy step
the first voices.
