In Vittorio Veneto square an exultant crowd of people attack the handwork and then save statues, decorations and even fragments as if they were precious relics. A work of art built in ninety days is destroyed in a few seconds. The trophy may be a good omen for a whole working year and it will be kept in the houses or in the shops as Holy Virgin’s blessing. |
