The first performance of Tuba tabù with the Bercàndeon

As I said before in the section “Songs”, in “Tuba Tabù” you can hear the Bercàndeon, that replaces the trumpets, that are temporally not available. It is an aerophone instrument with two keyboards , with bellows and free metal reeds. It has good and new ergonomics; its name is a mixture of the two inventors’surnames (Fiorenzo Bernasconi and Stefano Caniato). This is the first official recording (after two years from the first drafts, the project’s deposit and the production of a prototype). Stefano Caniato plays it in a long solo.

Ballad for big band

Vito Pietro L’Abbate, trumpet player and arranger, is arranging a ballad for big band. We hope that everything will go on well and that the song will soon be part of the Virtual Big Band’s repertoire.
