The Aesthetic Movement, was a reaction against the ugliness of Industrialisation. Aestheticism, came from in England, and it's a movement, in essence the cult of beauty, which developed around at the and of the 19th century and begun in the late Victorian period.These cult of beauty, born in a period of miserry and depression when agricolture and industry began to suffer after the 1870s through the competition of rapidly developing inddustrial powers like Germany and America. The motto of these movement, was "art for art's sake", where the artist had not values moral, no social, no political, no religious.
