EVARISTO CASONATO

Oboist, teacher, inventor

 



Evaristo Casonato was born in Codroipo (UD) in 1965.

He starts the musical's studies with his father and after with M° G.Sperandio in Pordenone.

In 1986 under the guidance M° P.Pellarin he obtains diploma of oboe with 9.25/10 at the "J.Tomadini" Conservatory in Udine.

In 1986/87 he perfects himself with M° P.Borgonovo in Music School of Fiesole (FI) and from 1986 to 1997 he frequents International Master Classes of Portogruaro (VE) in the classes of Oboe and Chamber Music.

In 1992/93, 1993/94 and 1994/95 he frequents Conservatoire National du Raincy (Paris) with M° A.Denis and in May 1995 he obtains "Medaille d’or".

He wins various prizes like soloist and chamber musician (with Trio d'Ance di Udine and with Duo Casonato - Colombaro) in National and International Concourses.

He is Solo Oboist in Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra from 1993 to 1996.

From 1992 he is apt to teaching oboe in Italian Conservatorium and he works at the Conservatorium of Udine, Rodi Garganico (Foggia), Trieste and now Trapani.

Evaristo study also "Willems music teaching system" and "Gordon music learnig theory" teaching in schools near Udine.

He loves the choral music and he conduct the "Corale Fogolar" of Corno di Rosazzo (Ud).

He is active as soloist, in piano duo, in many different chamber music groups (also modern music) and in orchestra.

He is Oboist in Philharmonic Orchestra of Friuli Venezia Giulia until 2006. 

Evaristo Casonato is the inventor of the FOCUS: tool for improves the continuity of the emission of air in the Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon and Sax.
