The cave of the marble's mine of the Massucco is well-known from a lot of time because of the exploitation by a mine of the marble lens in which the cavity opens. It is accessible after most long walk both from Piedicavallo and from Rassa. It is a short, horizontal cave that opens in a wall and due to the nature of the rock in which it is situated, it keeps constant its inner temperature during most of the year.
The famous entomologist Capra visited it in 1938 and cited only Sphodropsis ghilianii
