Quasars are an Italian musical band, founded on June 8, 1995 by Flavio and Andrea, work colleagues and music lovers. Flavio writes lyrics of the songs and is the lead singer of the group. Andrea takes care of the musical part, composes the songs and performs the instrumental parts with various synthesizers and drums. A mutual friend, Giovanni, in April 2000, joins the band and takes care of the electric bass and guitar parts. The group works exclusively in the studio and some years ago take the decision to share their albums on the web for free.

                                                                 

 The first song composed by the Quasars was "The Prophet", dated 1996. Four more have been added to this song, one of which is instrumental and all this led to the release of our first album, entitled Empty Spaces, released in 2000. Despite being an amateur band, which meets in the studio in their spare time, the common opinion of the group was to continue this activity and write other songs. In 2008 the second album "Lightears" was completed (conceived by us as a concept album), whose difficult realization was strongly desired by the members of the group.
