| I Will Follow was first released as
a single from the album Boy
in 1980. A live
single was released in 1982. This was the third
distinct release of I Will Follow. This single was used to
promote the mini EP Under
a Blood Red Sky in the US upon it's release. The
success of that live EP and this single in the US helped cement
U2's hold on US listeners.
I Will Follow continues to be a live favorite
and has seen more recent releases on Hasta
La Vista Baby (Mexico 1997), the Elevation
single (New York 2000) and the Best Buy Promo CD (Boston 2001)
