"Girl with Ermine"

A girl with her eyes closed listens to music from her music player.

A white Ipod cap is clearly visible in the right ear. It is the music that comes to mind and she is alienated from the world. It is the escape from reality in which so many young people through music isolate themselves in their fantasies and in their dreams.

And in this dream a white ermine appears on his right shoulder.

The ermine is a symbol of purity and incorruptibility and refers to the famous painting "Lady with an Ermine", an oil painting on board by Leonardo da Vinci, dating back to 1488-1490.

Trevisan is a Tuscan painter who grew up in Sansepolcro, the city of Piero della Francesca. After some artworks dedicated to the fellow citizen, with this painting he pays tribute to another great Tuscan, Leonardo da Vinci. But all the modern key, with a Mac music player...
