The painting "Red heels in California Pool" depicts a swimming pool next to a modern house, with a woman in a red costume about to take a dive from a yellow diving board located to the right of the painting. It pays homage to the famous pop art painting by British artist David Hockney, in which, however, a large spray of water created by the diver appears, that is, a few seconds after Trevisan's painting. In the painting there is a view of a swimming pool with behind it a building of modernist architecture of the 60s typical of Californian houses. A yellow diving board protrudes from the right side of the painting.
A woman diver in a red swimsuit and red shoes with high heels is about to dive into the blue pool, the edge of which is outlined by a thinner blue and white stripe. The painting is projected in a horizontal dimension so as to leave not only the diver but also the viewer's eye a free blue space of the still-empty pool: it represents a dimension of freedom onto which we can project both our diving and the dimension of our dreams. The oil colors used are deliberately homogeneous and bold to emphasize the strong Californian light and give the painting a pop art version. The yellow diving board stands out dramatically against the turquoise water of the pool, which echoes in the intense turquoise of the sky. Between the sky and the water, a thin blue stripe: it is the California sea, the Pacific Ocean that recalls a distant horizon. The architecture of the building is represented by a rectangular block with two large windows, in front of which is clearly outlined a folding chair, and a boy in a red bathing suit. Two palm trees with long, slender trunks adorn the background of the painting to the right of the building. Other palm trees and distant buildings are reflected in the windows of the house. A row of low, green vegetation decorates the central side of the painting.

Il quadro "Red heels in California Pool" raffigura una piscina accanto a una casa moderna, con una donna in costume rosso che sta per fare un tuffo da un trampolino giallo situato alla destra del quadro. Rende omaggio al famoso quadro pop art dell'artista britannico David Hockney, in cui però appare un grande spruzzo d'acqua creato dal tuffatore, cioè qualche secondo dopo il quadro di Trevisan. Nel quadro c'è una veduta di una piscina con alle spalle un edificio di architettura modernista degli anni '60 tipico delle case californiane. Un trampolino giallo sporge dal lato destro del quadro.
Una tuffatrice in costume da bagno rosso e scarpe rosse con tacchi alti sta per tuffarsi nella piscina blu, il cui bordo è delineato da una striscia blu e bianca più sottile. Il quadro è proiettato in una dimensione orizzontale in modo da lasciare non solo la tuffatrice ma anche l'occhio dello spettatore uno spazio blu libero della piscina ancora vuota: rappresenta una dimensione di libertà su cui possiamo proiettare sia le nostre immersioni che la dimensione dei nostri sogni. I colori ad olio usati sono volutamente omogenei e audaci per enfatizzare la forte luce californiana e dare al dipinto una versione pop art. Il trampolino giallo si staglia drammaticamente contro l'acqua turchese della piscina, che riecheggia nel turchese intenso del cielo. Tra il cielo e l'acqua, una sottile striscia blu: è il mare della California, l'Oceano Pacifico che richiama un orizzonte lontano. L'architettura dell'edificio è rappresentata da un blocco rettangolare con due grandi finestre, davanti al quale è chiaramente delineata una sedia pieghevole, e un ragazzo in costume da bagno rosso. Due palme dai tronchi lunghi e sottili adornano lo sfondo del quadro a destra dell'edificio. Altre palme ed edifici lontani si riflettono nelle finestre della casa. Una fila di vegetazione bassa e verde decora il lato centrale del dipinto.
