Chemicals used to kill insects and weeds can build up and damage the soil.

Sewage, waste from factories and oil from tankers pollute rivers and oceans.

Smoke from chimneys and fumes from cars polluter the air.

Pollution car threaten our health, and even make it impossible for plants and animals to live.

War

People have a horrible fear of war.

Civilians are often the victims in today ‘s wars fought with efficient tanks and missiles.

Drugs

People can become addicted to certain drugs; this means they cannot live without them. Drugs are really terrible.

Disease

When something goes wrong with your body you may have a disease. Diseases can also be caused by poor diet and lack of vitamins.

Drugs can cure many diseases and vaccination can protect us from others. The most frightening diseases for us are AIDS and cancer.
