Bexus 6 comes back to Esrange

On 10th October, Bexus 6
comes back to Esrange. The gondola was not damaged thanks to the soft
landing and also our experiment was in perfect conditions.

recovered in Finland.

Bexus 6 successfully launched
(8th October 2008)
On 8th October 2008, Bexus
6 was successfully launched from Esrange at 7:10 UTC. After a flight
lasted about 3 hours, the balloon landed somewhere in Finland, just
across the Finnish border.

Bexus 6 launch rescheduled
(6th October 2008)
After two "Decision
Meeting" held this morning (7:30 and 10:00), the launch of Bexus 6 has
been rescheduled to Wed 8th October 2008 (early morning), due to
bad weather condition. A launch rehearsal
will be held today. The next "Decision Meeting" will be Tue 7th
October 2008 at 7:30 to discuss about a possible launch window on Tue
7th October 2008. However it is not likely to have the launch tomorrow
as strong winds are expected.

RF interference test with all the experiments and
Bexus avionics switched on we did together with Esrange personell to
check any interference between experiments and/or avionics.

Long-run test (3rd-4th October 2008)
The first test we have done once we arrived at Esrange has been a
overnight long-run test to check all LowCoINS functionality. The next
morning we have done a full memory dump and checked the telemetry
recorded overnight.
