Notes
1
A genealogical research has been carried out by René Kappers. A complete description is available in Dutch. Very interesting is the traditional family bible. Gijsbert Kappers made notes in this bible about events that happened to his family. This tradition was started by his father Harmen Joost Kappers and continued by his son Kornelis Kappers. For this reason we know today some dates of marriages, births and deaths that are not registered in public documents.
