1 - Loop of Mallare

Trail description.
From Mallare we follow the provincial road and we get over the few houses of place Acque (km 5).
get over the country we cross the bridge entering the commune of Altar; we turn to the right here entering on a dirt road that it skirts the stream.
We continue almost in plain overcoming numerous wood bridges and we arrive to a fork (km 9,3) where we turn to the right going to cross a ford.
The road begins to quickly climb in definite way and constant and go to the Colla of the Termine (km 11,1).
Here we meet the itinerary 2 and him itinerary 6 described in the zone of Vado Ligure.
We continue on the ample almost level road and we reach the evident fork for the Rocche Bianche (km 14,8). We turn to the right here, in slope.
Climbing we meet two roads that originate from left, we avoid it and we keep on climbing up to the ample meadow saddle of Colla S. Giacomo (km 17).
In the lowest point of the pass we turn to the right in a road in descent.
It is an ample dirt road that it goes down in the wood up to the houses of Cadotto where we find the asphalted road (km 20,6). Following it we reach to Hermits and then Mallare (km 22,8).
Gradient: 400 ms in slope and as many in descent.
On saddle: 100%
Observations:   Easy tourist run coolness and planted with trees.
It can cross in contrary sense with same difficulties. In this case the itinerary is begun turning to the left (coming from Altare) to half the avenue planted with trees to the center of Mallare. Indications for Hermitage and Sanctuary. Arrivals at the end of the rectilinear you turn to the left.

2 - Crossing from Bormida to Pallare

Description.
We depart from the houses of Piansottano and we proceed in direction of Osiglia following the provincial road. We climb to the church and we continue up to reach the ridge in place Colla Baltera (km 4,7).
We return back and we take the second dirt road to the left (250 ms before the Colla, indications RAMP of a competition of mtb).
The beautiful road continues in light slope up to reach a big intersection (km 6,9). We go to the right. We always continue in the wood following the principal road. After a winding the inclination increases and we arrive on the ridge (km 10,2; Zotta du Luv).
We go down on the opposite part a little bit rough tract and we arrive to an intersection (km 10,9).
The signals RAMP go to the left, we turn to the right in the first road of the two (trail sign FIE: yellow triangle). To the following fork we go straight on.
The following tract is invaded by the vegetation that it forces to some tract by foot. Managing ourself in the bushes we reach the descent that finishes on a dirt road (km 12,4).
We cross the road continuing the descent on the smallest road on the opposite part. The descent finishes to an intersection (km 13,4) where we turn to the left.
After an easy tract we have to get over some non cycle zones because of the rough ground; a final descent brings us on a dirt road (km 15,4).
We turn to the left and we proceed in slope. The road brings on the ridge, but it is necessary to leave it to a practically invisible intersection. This point is found to the right, 100 meters before going out on the ridge before the steep ramp.
We scramble on the scarp penetrating in a bush where we track a vague trace of passage down. Over the bushes we find a path and the trail sign triangle yellow.
Afteer a first tract in the wood we have to cross a thick bush where the path is almost invisible. Beyond the path continues narrow and amusing. We meet some intersections that we get over following the most evident trace.
A slope brings us in an obstructed zone of dejected trees that force to proceed by foot. In descent in the wood we arrive on an dirt road (km 17,5) by now out of the difficulties.
We almost go to the right in plain, then we begin the steep descent and we reach a dirt ampler road (km 19,3) where we turn to the left.
Without further difficulties we go down reaching the provincial road almost in the center of Pallare (km 20,5).
Gradient: 480 ms in slope and 650 in descent.
On saddle:  93 %
Observations: Very disturbed by the vegetation. The path is, sometimes, of difficult to find.
The three dirt roadst that they are crossed they allow to leave the run following its toward right.

3 - Cross of mount Ronco di Maglio

Description.
We depart from the town hall of Osiglia and we go down, following the Provincial road, reaching the bridge (km 0,5). Just get over the bridge we turn to the right taking the only road.
To the fork we go to the left, in slope. With some windings we reach the houses of Orticeto (km 1,6) and we continue.
Reached some houses the asphalt road it finishes (km 2,9) and we continue, with little inclination, arriving to an intersection (km 3,5).
Here we meet the itinerary 4 and the indications RAMP of a competition of MTB; we turn to the left with opposite run to that of the competition.
The long following tract doesn't introduce great gradients, we follow the most marked layout neglecting the numerous road that we meet; some difficulties of orientation.
We arrive to an intersection (km 5,2) where the trail signs RAMP originate from left. We turn to the right here and we begin to climb a more steep tract. We arrive to a fork where we find the trail sign FIE yellow X (km 5,9).
Let's follow it going to the left. The slope conducts to the intersection with another path FIE where we continue straight on to go out on a forest road (km 6.5).
We turn to the left first then to the right and we arrive on the peak (km 6,8).
For the descent we turn back and we go down to the intersection where, from right, we have been climbed. We don't turn and we continue on the forest road that goes to the left in descent.
The descent continues rather steep but always on the road. We neglect the deviations and we arrive to another road that we follow to the left (trail sign FIE). Without particular problems we reach the crossroads of altitude 856 where we find the itineraries 4 and 2 (km 8,6).
We go straight on (itinerary 2, contrarily) reaching the asphalt road where we ascent to the right reaching the ridge (km 10,6).
We turn to the right and we see two dirt roads. We take that of left and we proceed in light descent. To the fork we go to the right, then we go down following the indications RAMP. To an intersection not signalled we go to the left and we quickly arrive to the houses of Carlevari (km 12,1).
Continuing the descent on asphalt road we arrive on the provincial road almost in the town hall of Osiglia (km 12,6).
Gradient: 450 ms in slope and as many in descent.
Onn saddle: 92%
Observations: it should be also practicable in contrary sense, perhaps with greater difficulty

4 - Loop of mount Ronco di Maglio

Description.
We depart from the town hall of Osiglia and we go down, following the Provincial road, turning to the right almost immediately in the road for place Carlevari.
Initially we go down for then climb to the houses (km 0,5) where it has term the asphalt. We continue in steep slope and we gain altitude with windings, then a diagonal to the right brings us to the Colle della Baltera (km 1,9).
We reach the asphalt road, we turn to the left and, after 100 meters, we turn to the left in a dirt road in slope (in common with itinerary 2).
The beautiful road continues in light slope up to reach a big intersection to altitude 856 (km 3,9). We go to the right. We continue in the wood always following the principal road. After a winding the inclination increases and we arrives on the ridge (km 7,2; Zotta du Luv).
We go down a little bit rough tract and we arrive to an intersection (km 7,7).
The itinerary 2 go to the right. We turn to the left (trail sign RAMP) on ample forest road. The light descent finishes with a steep but brief descent to the right to which follows some slopes.
We arrive to an evident intersection with numerous signals. We leave the road that continues for Biestro and we turns to the left clearly. A brief slope then a tract with numerous intersections in which it is necessary to do attention (always indications RAMP).
We get over the intersection for Ronchi and we arrive to cross a road more marked (km 10,1). To the left rise the itinerary 3 that we follow contrarily now.
On good road we continue to a fork (km 11,9) where we go to the left while to the right the road goes down to Orticeto. With up-and-down course we reach the intersection of altitude 856 (km 12,9).
We continue straight on for about fifty meters and then we turn to the right in a small road.
We turn to the left immediately, then the road continues with some tract in slope and comes to meet in a great road that we follow to the right reaching the Colle Baltera (km 14,6).
Before reaching the asphalt we turn to the right taking the road what we have followed in slope. To an intersection not signalled we go to the left and we quickly arrive to the houses of Carlevari (km 12,1).
Continuing the descent on asphalt road we arrive on the provincial one almost in the town hall of Osiglia (km 12,6).
Gradient: around 400 ms in slope and as many in descent.
On saddle: 100  %
Observations: in opposite sense it is more difficulty and with increase difficulty of orientation.

5 - Descent from Madonna of the Snow to Mallare

Description.
In front of the church, beyond the asphalt road, some dirt roads depart.
We take that more marked, on which also races the trail sign FIE (yellow square), that enters in the wood and it proceeds in light descent. The descent continues without particular difficulties up to reach a crossroads (km 2,1).
Here we have to turn to the right clearly going to slope. We reach a shoulder and we begin to go down on the opposite slope. Runs 100 meters from the beginning of the descent we leave the road that continues inviting in descent and we turn to the left in a small road that goes to slope.
The road continues in slope up to reach the ridge (km 3,7) get over which begin to go down. The road becomes more and more marked, then it passes near a house and it finishes meeting an ample dirt road (km 6,2).
We turn to the right and we quickly go down to reach the asphalt road (km 6,9). We go down to the right and we reach the center of Mallare (km 10,5)
Gradient: 500 ms.
On saddle: 100  %
Observations: usable also in slope.

6 - Loop of Osiglia 1

Description.
From the town hall of Osiglia, in the place Rossi, we go down toward the lake following the provincial road.
Before the bridge we turn to the left on the road that coasts along the left bank of the lake. We reach and we leave to the right the pedestrian bridge (km 2,6) and we always follow the main road that finishes to a bridge (km 3,2).
Here we go straight on beginning to climb on the dirt road. Shortly after the inclination increases and we gain height with some windings reaching the Tecchio Gamba (km 5,3).
We turn to the left, then to the left immediately after few meters. We are on a forest road that crosses the wood with level course.
We try to stay on the main run; to a fork near a construction we go in plain to the right. The road rises with a very steep slope to whose term there is a fork where we go to the left (km 6,6).
The slope continues until we reach the ridge (hill of the Barossa, intersection, km 7). Here we turn taking the road to the left.
We get over a short climb then we begin to go down. The descent has a steep tract then it becomes moderate and we also meet some tracts in light slope.
The descent brings us to the houses Ocella and to the road immediately following (km 9,5).
We follow this road for few meters and we turn to the right, in slope, to arrive to the near place Cascina.
After the houses we face some steep slopes and then the descent that brings us to the church Madonna of the Snow (km 10,6).
We turn to the right here and we cross the suburb. The road is level to a ford, but then it begins to climb more and more steep.
Later around 500 very difficult meters the inclination decreases and we arrives to cross an ample dirt road (km 12,6).
We turn to the left and we go down with many windings up to the bottom of the valley where we meet the asphalt road (km 15,1).
In short we arrive to Osiglia, place Suburb and we go down to the town hall (km 17).
Gradient: in slope 500 ms.
On saddle: 98%
Observations: it constitutes the first part of the competition Rampicandosiglia. The intersections are well signalled from poster with the writing RAMP.
