In August 15, 1769, Napoleone Bonaparte was born.
Exactly 198 years after, Roberto born.
No mutual relation between the two events.
High school diploma in computer science.
Degree in computer science.
I work in the computer science.

A tribute to my city
I am from Torino (that is, Turin, Italy) and I am proud of it.
Almost two thousand years in Torino's history made up a various and beautiful city, where ancient Roman ruins stand up together with Baroque buildings, and where hills, parks and gardens are the counterpoint to industry and modern technologies.

Music
My greatest passion is undoubtedly music.
Like Massimo Mila (music reviewer) wrote, music is not a mere feeling-inspirer. Music is a self-standing feeling, with infinite gradations.

Dance
I go out dancing at least one or two times per week. Dance, especially couple dance, is fun but it is mostly communication.

Science Fiction
The SF long since stopped to be regarded as a minor kind of literature, becoming tout-court literature.
I am an estimator of the adventurous role of the SF, as long as the scientific, the visionary and even the foreseeing ones.

Travels
Till now, in my European travels, I reached France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czech and Slovak Republic, Rumania, Poland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, United Kingdom and Ireland.
I would like to put on my pages pictures from all those Countries, but I've got little room in here, so I would show only some of the foreshortenings I caught with my camera.
I'll periodically change these photos with newer and/or nicer others.

Photos of myself
Yes, I am a little bit exhibitionist... like all those who own an homepage!

ASCII art
To be true, I am not a *real* ASCII artist, but I like very much that kind of art.
Do you remember that pictures, in vogue in early '80s, that rendered people's faces using only characters and ciphers? Well, now there is on the net a program that can do it...
