I'll talk here about dances I'm (more or less) able to, including Argentine Tango and other folk dances, mostly the Provençal ones.

In the mean time, if you got a MIDI-capable sound card, you can listen to some dance songs:

Tangos:

Por una cabeza : a classical tango, in a suffered interpretation.
El choclo : another classical which many beginner pianists like me should have met in their books.
Mar del Plata : a nice, very well orchestrated piece.

Provençal-French music:

Here I show myself off, playing some songs from the folk Provençal-French repertoire. I put into MIDI some songs that we dance very often in Provençal parties.

Vals - Mazurka : two themes waltz-time and two themes mazurka-time.
Rigodon Savoiardo : a rigodon with the polka piquee step.
Siglinda : a delicate waltz.
Vals : another nice romantic waltz.
Mazurka di S.Andiou : a very peculiar mazurka.

Here am I, at a Carnival party in February 1998, dancing a french mazurka with Annamaria.
