Science Fiction

Reading is not like watching television.
To read is to choose. To read is to follow your own rhythms.
To read is to rely on your own talent for imagination, for the identification with the characters, for criticism, instead of gulping down a predigested TV-pap.

I chose science-fiction.
To be true, I don't read only science-fiction, but it is a matter of fact that the raids in space and in time, the explorer's adventuruous spirit, In realta` non leggo solo fantascienza, ma sta di fatto che le scorribande nel cosmo e nel tempo, lo spirito d'avventura dell'esploratore, le escursioni nella scienza, le ipotesi fantasiose sul nostro passato e sul nostro futuro (e qualche volta persino sul nostro presente) non terminano mai di intrigarmi.

Douglas Adams
Isidore Haiblum
Michael Moorcock
Howard P. Lovecraft
Fred Saberhagen
