From the Massage to the Sauna: Relax Yourself but, Please in a Good Way

When I talked to you about body-building, I told you how the relaxation is so important for the sport. Our body can't be always overworked and sometimes needs some quiet to "fill up strength". Also to move the reserves of the muscles to free new capacity, and in this way to develop more muscles.

I don't intend relax such as laziness after training. When you stretch yourself, this relax your body so much.

One exercise that belongs to the autogenous training: sit down on a chair, keep the feet parallel to the floor and your arms on the legs, and lower your head on the chest.... if you stay in this position for a while, this helps very much your relaxation.

Who does its training in a Fitness-Studio, will find there also a sauna, a Turkish bath and perhaps also the chance to make a sport-massage. You should properly utilize these opportunities, since they recharge your health and trained body.

Now I'll tell you with basilar-information the main effects and applications rules:

Massages

If they're well-done, they improve our capacity of relaxation and our health. So first of all : the massages should be done only by skilled people ( expert masseurs). They don't help only to massage your muscles, but also to favor the bloodstream. With oriented massages of certain muscles, they become relaxed and disintoxicated. With the massage the removal of the metabolism products ( for example the lactic acid) is faster.

The experts distinguish different kinds of massages, from the sport massages to the zonal one, and they know which is the best for you. This important : With wounds, hemorrhages, inflammations, and skin diseases make no massages.

Sauna

In the sauna the fitness trained body recovers in a faster way. The fatigue, the toxic substances, and the wastes of the metabolism are expelled through the sweat. The metabolism and the blood vessels are strengthened by the stronger blood sprinkling. The muscles and the psyche relax easier in a warm place.

The difference between hot and cold stimulates the whole body, increases heartbeats without danger up to 50%, because in the warm the blood vessels are deleted.

Anyway a person should not make more than two Sauna baths of 10/15 minutes at about 80/95 degrees, and don't believe that in this way you can melt your adipose tissue.

You sweat a lot but you must reintegrate the fluids you loose with water, juices or vitaminic beverages.

At the end of the sauna you must always have a cold shower ( first of all arms and legs, then the whole body ) in order to contract again the blood vessels.

Optimal is also a warm footbath that normalizes the blood circulation. Also the pause of relaxation of 10/15 minutes is very important.

Such as all the other kinds of training also the sauna is effective if it is properly done. Before the sauna have always a shower, dry yourself and remember that man should make only two or three saunas per week.

Turkish Bath

The Turkish bath is about the same of the sauna but has a stronger effect on the body. This is because even if the temperature is lower (40-50°),the sweat don't evaporate and the body becomes warmer.

The Sleep

For the biorhythm of our body the sleep is as important as the air we breathe, it's the most important regenerative phase. The sleep is irreplaceable also for people who make sports. It's scientifically demonstrated that the lack of sleep bring worsening of efficiency, concentration and reaction. However: don't take any sleeping draught, unless it's expressly ordered by the doctor. Who practices Fitness usually doesn't suffer the lack of sleep. On the contrary : doctors suggest people, who have sleep problems, to do some sports and Fitness for the body.

Skin Care

Here I could point out the thousand of shampoos and perfumes of all kinds you can buy. But please, look at cosmetic advertising with a critical eye. It's right that our skin needs care and this is right either for boys and girls. The Natural Products are always better than the Chemical-Synthetic ones. I use "Aloe Vera"-preparations that contains 80% of Natural Aloe Vera. After each Fitness you should always have a shower. Today there are many "Hair and Body Shampoos", in this way the cleaning of the body is easy and fast. Doing this after the training you will feel refreshed and good in a flash. Pay attention because the product you use should be moisturizing and mustn't leave a fat proctecive film on your skin.
