The Accidental Tourist (1988) is a famous movie, starring William Hurt, Geena Davis and Kathleen Turner. The main character is the author of books addressed to people who travel out of necessity more than out of choice. It is a psychological plot, and the final moral of the story - maybe it's not just how much you love someone; maybe what matters is who you are when you're with them - has little to do with tourism and trips.Somehow, to us, the expression "accidental tourist" has lost its original meaning and has come to represent someone who travels by himself, without resorting to travel organizations, and whose trips are unplanned. In these pages you find imagines from those accidental journeys, which we like very much. Most of these journey were undertaken for reasons different from simple pleasure and the imagines we took back try to be unconventional. |
