Chilopoda, Lithobiomorpha, Lithobiidae -
Lithobius scotophilus Latzel, 1887 - It is an eutroglophile Scolopender that lives in the Bossea Cave and in other Cuneese cavities. The antennas are very sensitive and the animal uses they to sound the ground, being completely blind. It is a predator that assaults any little arthropod that it can kill. It is frequent on decaying wood or under stones where there are organic substances in decomposition that attract a lot of inhabitants of the caves and of the subsoil.
