DAVID
WIGLEY I, DAISY AMOS
(bridesmaid at Doris Annie Macklin Ruck Stroud's wedding, 1936), “MRS. AMOS”
(ELLEN AMOS) ●
in the 1939 Register an Ellen Amos, born 11 DEC 1882, unmarried, was living
with David as his housekeeper ●
there is no birth record for a plain Ellen Amos in 1882-3 in Kent ●
Daisy is therefore possibly not her daughter ●
it has not been possible to check whether these Amos were related to David
through his maternal grandmother Mary Amos Ha/edgcock
Wigley, or whether it is just a coincidence that their name was Amos ●
there weren’t any Daisy Amos born in Kent about the same time as Doris Annie
Macklin Ruck, 1911 |
