ROBOT
SPECS
It
is the robot driven by the impetuous Ryouma Nagare,
and is born from the combination of Eagle, Jaguar and
Bear. Height 38 meters, heavy 220 tons, you can consider
it a robot of "small" dimensions (remember
that Daitarn III is high 120 m ^_^). It is the most
versatile one of 3 original Getter's , capable in the
flight thanks to the Getter manto, and capable of a
frightening run on ground (have you seen the first ep
of TLD?); it would have to be good also underwater,
but in that case the more suitable configuration is
the Getter Three
For
years there we are asked how the hell the transformation
work: now we know that the Getter Machine are constituted
from infinite metallic placchette capable of to change
shape according to the requirements of 3 configurations;
this thing remembers a little the phenomenon that in
metallurgy is known like "memory of shape",
but I suppose is a nice coincidence ^_^
Getter
One doesn't have a lot of arm: in practice the Tomahowk
and the Getter Beam only: you can consider arms also
the blades on the arms (getter cutter ) and the same
coat, at least for what it is seen in TLD. Finally it
was provided of a nice "lupara" known as Getter
Machine Gun.

MODEL
SPECS
The
I model is mainly constituted from simple cylinders
extracted from spline, typical choice for robot "a
la Nagai".
The bust, the foots, the head and the hands are metanurbs
not freezed, while it "t-shirt " was freezed:it's
one of the oldest pieces of the I model, when I had
still LW [5.6 ], the remainder was replaced varied times
in the passage to the [6.5]. Within the t-shirt is hidden
the coat.
The hands were one of the pieces that make suffer me
of more: many of my robots were without hands cause
I did not succeed to model it a pair that went me to
genius, besides never I found a decent system to animate
them; the I model that I use now pleases me enough:
I use a simple trick for the poses, that is a series
of morphmap.
To
unite the features of typical "elastic" of
Nagai and of the Getter particularly, with the requirements
of a typical Robot rigidity I mixed IK and heavy bones:
the body for example has a weight that a certain rigidity
agrees to maintain volume in the counted with the legs,
and the right rubbery motilità of the bust; naturally
the manual alterations in direct kinematic is still
indispensable to obtain decent poses
It could be done of better, but I should revolutionize
the model, and to be frank I don't wont do it:-PpPp

GALLERY
In
most of these images I use a variation of "SkyGen"
by Eki Halkka
For what it pertains the illumination, I adopted a system
like OverCaster by Eki too, but i made byself with the plugin
lightset.
Useless to add that the texture are still not ended
