PREFACE
The inhabitants of the planet Zela, are forced to live underground couse of a eco-disaster; to seek a solution to the situation they build Black Darius, a gigantic self-consioud robot: He built other 4 androids, and establishes that the only way for solve the situation consists in invade another planet, that is the Earth. But here the professor Daimonji is not unprepared, and thanks to the subsidies of the ONU, builds the space Dragon, a gigantic flying base, heavily arms and full of a lot of independent, the prince of which is the strong robot Gaiking, whose brutal body results constituted from the skeletal head of the dragon.

To the leader of the Gaiking a special pilot is asked for, an esper, and it is for this reason that Daimonji kidnaps Sanshiro Tsuwabaki, champion of whose Baseball career comes put down for an accident to the hand.

ROBOT SPECS
The Gaiking is a atypical robot: the series is object of dispute between Go Nagai who claimed the fatherhood of it and Toei that instead excluded it from the titles. This dispute will cause the suspension of the collaboration between the two.
Besides in Italy the series was trasmitted only for half, in recent times Yamato Publisher carried it to end.

At any rate the robot results high 50 meters and heavy 220 tons, The mecha is signed from Dan Kobayashi, (Danguard) while we have Akio Sugino animation director. A lot the choreographic arms, in good part bound to the dragon: HydroBlazer, SaurusGaiser, Killer Bite, Eye Beam, Counter Cross, Counter Punch (unfailing rocket-fists ^_^)

The Mecha design is very inconsistent in the series, the that gives back extremely difficult "to take the measures" to the I model (the robot varys a lot between a frame and another!!); like for almost of the robot of my site my reference was a model, of whom unfortunately I have not that a photograph

This model is very bulky, how pleases me, enough different from the Gaiking of the Chogokin; whoever had detailed photograph of such model is prayed to inform me, and in change will have my eternal gratitude (seems yourselves little? ; -)

MODEL SPECS
I admit it, this Robot I put it for do number: not not even the basic structure is ended (did you note that it han't the legs? ^_^), Obviously I can't consider it concluded! The only thing that I can consider definitive is the head of the Dragon, the remainder can change without notice.
