Sweep Picking and Arpeggio: Primi Passi > Base exercises: Lesson 3
In "Lesson 1" and "Lesson 2" we've exploit four type of exercises to learn the
bases of sweep picking on eight fingerings: four shapes of the major mode and
four shapes of the minor mode.
In this lesson we'll see to put together what we've learnd on the three single
strings to play arpeggio with a range of 5 strings.
The four types of exercises come usefull again to learn the new fingerings
which will be very familiar to you.
Here's then 6 new fingerings, the left ons are referred to the shapes of the
major arpeggio, the right ons to the shapes of the minor arpeggio.
I took away the number of reference of the frets ( I III ) from the keboards
because the fingerings on those position involve an excessive widening of the
left hand Perform then the four types of exercises from where you're able to
start, for example you can start from VII or IX to arrive till XV.
Other 24 Exercises
---------------------
Now, basing on the 4 type of exercises seen in the "Lesson 1" I VERY WARMLY
SUGGEST to get practice also on the following fingerings:

B -|--O--|-----|-----|-----|- B -|--O--|-----|-----|-----|-
G -|-----|--O--|-----|-----|- G -|--O--|-----|-----|-----|-

Repeating the four type of exercises for each of this fingerings we have the
possibility to study the basis of sweep picking on other 24 exercises.
A fair quantity of work to distribuite in about 3 or 4 months.
Here's another series of exercises which you can use to create some of yours,
so you can get prectice without being bored to much.
