THE LOST TRIBES OF ORPHAN MOUNTAIN

Year 1999-2000, primary school of Cologne, province of Brescia, at the foot of Monte Orfano (Orphan Mountain)

Meeting in the classroom and outing on the mountain: the pupils of 5^ class play to the   “tribes” that abide the Cresta (crown), the Bosco (Wood) and the area around the cave named Lacca. Exercises of animazione teatrale, audio and video recordings, observations and discoveries, invention of stories and “legends”. We collect maps and documents, set up “alphabets”, select stones, ground, vegetables, for further scientific deepening, with the aid of “guides” for the outings and exterior specialists in order to deepen specific subjects

From the experience of Cologne, I drew the book Le tribù perdute del Monte Orfano (the Lost Tribes of Orphan Mountain).
