La Bissa

The “Bissa” is a fontanile (a typical spring of Po valley), located in the country near Travagliato (BS). The children of first and second primary school, year 2001-2002, went to explore it and found it dry. During their first visit, in winter, they found also ice. Not only they did drawings and researches, but also took interviews from parents and grand parents, to find out how the Bissa was and how it was attended by the citizens  of Travagliato. Then we took drawings, photographs, texts of the interviews and stories, together with the imagines taken from our videos, and put all in a CD ROM.

Nature and Us

It is the title of a CD ROM made in the year 2002-2003 with the first classes of the primary school of Collebeato, gone out exploring different environments: the school yard, the park “Primo Maggio”, the hills surrounding the village.

Imagines from the videos, drawings, stories invented all together. In the town hall they give us also the aerial pictures in which to find our explorations. And the multimedia final product is very rich.

The children saw and experimented haw objects can be inserted in the multimedia pages, how the enter and exit, how one can mix up text objects, imagine objects, sound objects. We took voices from the video and recorded other with a microphone connected to my laptop.
