A.R.M.I. & A.R.I. AWARD RULES ITALIAN NAVY COASTAL RADIO STATIONS 2009"
The A.R.M.I. Award "ITALIAN NAVY COASTAL RADIO STATIONS" has been conceived to remeber the former W/T Coastal Radio Stations belonging to the Italian Navy. The Award is attainable by all OM and SWL worlwide.
TIME PERIOD The Award starts on march 7th 2009 (00:00 UTC) and ends on march 22th 2009 (24.00 UTC)
STATIONS Special stations will be active as follows : - Special call stations, representing former W/T Italian Navy Coastal Radio Stations; - A.R.M.I. Stations; -Naval clubs stations.
MODES Are allowed : CW - SSB - FM - PSK31 - RTTY
BANDS All bands HF - VHF - UHF, accordingly the IARU Band Plan
POINTS QSOs (HRD) with Navy Coastal Radio Stations be worth 10 points (All modes); QSOs (HRD) with A.R.M.I. Club Stations be worth 3 points (CW); QSOs (HRD) with A.R.M.I. Club Stations be worth 2 points (PSK31 / RTTY); QSOs (HRD) with A.R.M.I. Club Stations be worth 1 point (SSB / FM); QSOs (HRD) with "JOLLY" Navy Coastal Radio Station IIĜIGU be worth 25 points (All modes);
Note : each station ARMI, Coastal Radio Stations and the JOLLY station can be connected only once a day for each mode of emission throughout the period of the race.

MOLTIPLICATOR 10 points for only ARMI stations
SCORE To get the Award is necessary a minimum score as follows : Italian Stations: 50 points; European Stations: 30 points; Outside Europe: 15 points;
CALLING The call will be as follows : CW / PSK31-RTTY : CQ CQ DE IIĜIGU IIĜIGU AWARD IT NAVY COASTAL RADIO STATIONS K SSB : CQ CQ this is IIĜIGU CALL FOR THE AWARD OF ITALIAN NAVY COASTAL RADIO STATIONS OVER.
REPORTS AND NUMBERS The Navy Coastal Radio Stations will send the RST report followed by the egistration number (MI #) The A.R.M.I. Stations will send the RST report followed by the registration number (MI #) The NAVAL Stations (*) will send the RST report followed by the CLUBS registration number.
CATEGORIES Three Categories are provided : "NAVAL" for those belonging to a Naval Club (*) "INDIPENDENT" for all others OMs "SWL"
SUBCATEGORIES Four Sub-Categories are provided : "MIXED" "PHONE" (SSB/FM) "CW" "DIGITAL" (PSK31 / RTTY)
PRIZES The highest score of each Category / Sub-Category will be awarded with a prize. For the SWL is provided only one sub-category (mixed).

The application must contain the list of all contacts (LOG SHEET), one QSL card of the applicant, and a contribution of 10,00 or $ 15,00(USD). A paper Award will be sent to any applicant. Only for the Italian Stations : contact via e-mail the Award manager if you want to send the contribution by POSTEPAY.
LOGS Logs will be accepted in form of printed papers (please no hand write) or in digital form. (files as .dbf, .xls, .doc, .txt or other text formats are OK). You can download the excel file "LOGCOASTAL09" to set up the LOG.
EXPIRY The applications for the award must be sent not after 30.08.2009.
Nota: The contribution for the Award, deducted the expenses for printig and mailing, will be devolved to the INSTITUTE "ANDREA DORIA" that deals with the childrens orphan of sailor fathers.
