OTHER NOTES |
Passengers was a group made up of
Brian Eno with the four members of U2. It was a one time only
project for U2. They had worked with other guest artists on this
project and Brian Eno took a much bigger role musically on this
release, so it was not released as a U2 project. Because of this,
the project got much less notice than it would have under the U2
banner.
Miss Sarajevo was the first and only single
released from the Original
Soundtracks Album. It features Luciano Pavarotti singing a
portion of the vocals. This lead to Bono and the Edge, with Eno,
performing at the annual Pavarotti and Friends concert on
September 12, 1995. They performed two songs, One and Miss
Sarajevo. One appeared on this release. Both songs live
appeared on the Pavarotti and Friends disc that year.
