ROUGH TRADE 3.0

THE I'MINAHURRY EDITION

FRIENDS

Outside the society of Bologna, in which I didn't frequented so much, except for those two or three places, I only had as a landmark the town of Riccione. My life went for a while in relationship with only one heterogeneous group of people, and even the ones who, like my neighbour, represented a world apart, they got annexed, sooner or later, in some intersection of this personal cosmos of mine that I built mainly to insecurity.

ART

From the times of the Pesaro's group, to Montpellier, to the university club, until now, Internet, the popular literature's essays, cynetic art, and so on, I bore one basic thing in mind, that is, constructing.

Also I did serenely, almost, whether school I choose, or various irregular works too, because I made clear to myself, at least, that art is not privilege but mission.

"You figure out yourself as a tool to create, but subject is the work, not you"

WORKTIME

Someone thought it was a symptom of success, just like the girls who work in Gianni Boncompagni's TV show.

Nevertheless, in Tania's Home entered some money from a regular commercial structure. I became less lamentable than usual, and I can afford participating to the group's activities such the pizza's nights, without worrying about having to review all prices with my little finger before ordering. And I was again the companion of the nocturnal revels in the Coast, without having my brain racking as before.

PASTIME

Among various discotheques in the coast of Romagna, some other had the same features : for example it's located on the hills, with a view over the sea, music isn't different, or rather, sometimes in there it's not so brand-new. [...] This place is the nicer one because there is a sense of belonging to a tribe. Instead there are several regular attenders of exotic race, which spreads out a cosmopolitan atmosphere.

"I altered the characters, taking them from comics books, such the Japanese ones (Akira), or from news items (Marilyn and John ...)"

THE VIRTUAL COMMUNITY

Sooner it had to end, to them, all the excitement and the novelty due to "the girl met from the computer", and my ordinary side, that I may even perform, has to inspire boredom. Boredom I often shared. Or rather, sometime I ask to myself why those telematic hunters must be so much victims of the goal to totally forget they must try to look appealing.

HOME

Or in the morning. I like my hair. They are pretty wild, but since they aren't much long, they stay relatively in place. Looks like an hooligan. I rub the palm of the hands on the scalp to turn wild even those hairs which aren't. An even wildness. I drink some coffee in my pyjamas with that sense of myself. "Tank Girl". I wouldn't like that somebody could see me - but I feel good that way.

Lorenzo

Lorenzo, alias JovanoTTi (well-known italian singer). This is a stolen photo (really I dunna who took it). Yet, I-Think-About-You.

YOU GOT THE LOOK

In that period [...] I complied with my solar side, and at the same time I started to dress in a more refined but sober style for all opportunities, stealing some suggestions from the wardrobe of the showbiz's personalities such Suxie of the Banshees or Sade Adu and so on.

Then I learn to put the "color" on the hair. Not the dye, which doesn't go away, but a real color, conceived on purpose for the hair, and most of all is removed at each shampoo - you put it on again before drying the hair.

I colored it with green for a while, now it's brick red.
