Music
attracted me since the first years of life; I remember when, on the
years '70, my parents brought me to the feasts of my country and I
remained quite a lot time in front of the stage where the orchestras and
the bands were exhibiting themselves. My first instrument were been the
percussions. I discovered the double bass, frequenting the secondary
music school and since then it has remained without doubt a fascinating
instrument, to me a lot of darling. The
double bass
" How do you make to transport it ?"
This
is the first question that sort always comes me.
In
effects, it is a not comfortable instrument, especially if it happens to
bring it; I prefer to transport the sweet flute! The
double bass is a instrument with which different kinds of music can be
performed. The
musical kind that I perform more often is that classical. Classical
music impassions me in particular way; some times it enters within me in
very strong way, it creates in me emotions and it caresses my soul. Some
times it winds my soul and it involves it to the point that after having
assisted to a concert I feel me more tired than if I had played. Double
bass is a instrument able to change itself according to what it asks for
the musical song. It
can be rhythmic as a percussion instrument and, thanks to its enormous
extension, it succeeds in reaching bass and deep sounds, as to of the
acute ones and to of the alike harmonic sounds to the sound of a flute.
Very important it is for me the way of "singing"of the double
bass, that can certainly be compared to that of any tool to arc, what,
for instance, the violin. Either can also harmonize it as if it were a
leg viola. Double bass is surely a instrument that offers so many
possibilities of execution. Currently
I am frequenting the seventh year of the secondary music school. The
steps for the attainment of the final diploma are two: The examination
of 5° course, that I sustained already different years ago, and the 7°
course examination, that I think to complete in June of 2004. During
these years I have sustained the examinations of theory, solfeggio and
complementary harmony. I am frequenting the 2° year of the course of
History of the music, whose examination is anticipated for June 2004
"... Always that everything goes for the correct verse and without
obstacles... ". Some times sound together with the orchestra of the
school of music, where I make practice
of ensemble music of and I perform me in some public concert. I
have played with groups of friends in formations of chamber music,
quartets, in duet with piano. I have worked for different years also with the musical
Band "TheMagiostrina."
