Un uncrossable spiral of barbed wire is always being the only threedimensional rapresentation of the border. The transborderline is a proposal for a new kind of border, that manteins the spiral shape, but, with loosing the thorns and getting wider, could be transormed in a ludic space, crosseble and at the same time habitable. Prototype of a possible future public space born from the "unfolding" of borders, creating an ideal place for exchance and to approach to diversity.

 Un infrastructure that can be the structure and the conduct for a free transit urbanization. Along the transborderline could sediment traces of passengers, where the stranger could find wellcome, where could be spaces for meetings and public confrontation and ludic spaces for all ages. A public space to relate with diversity, where to play with the borders, with their simbolic value and the reality of their being uncrosseble. A space that allowes the crossing and the exeeding of the borders without cancel them. The transborderline will be done by Stalker in different sites, where to experiment the potentiality of the structure as a ludic space for interaction and confrontation. In Villa Medici and at the Campo Boario in Rome, the structure will be given to all the researchers who wants to experimentate it's possible applications. In the threee contemporary manifestations of Venezia (Biennale) and Ljubljana (Manifesta3) it will be placed a bit of transborderline along the border in between the two nations, at the same time other bits of structure, ideally connected, will be placed in the two cities.

The installation rapresent an imaginary infrastructure that crossing the borders in between East and West, transfers in the hart of Ljubljana and Venezia, thousends of soccer balls, on wich there will be written the names, the tales and the desires of people who goald the borders of Europe. This project want to contribute to agevolate the confrontation and the exchange with the 'other' and the free circulation of people.
