GUARANTEE and NORMS FOR the ACQUISITION of ARTWORKS

GUARANTEE

All the artworks in this site and in the CD, explained on NOTE PER L'USO DEL SITO, are guaranteed during the life of the author.

All the artworks have been executed with best materials that the science and the contemporary technique have offered at the moment in which have been performed.

Also after years the artworks will be substituted gratis with others of the same size, support (canvas, paper, cotton, etc.) and technique (oil, water-coluor, etc.). When preferred an artwork of greater sizes, the value of the first will be subtracted from that of the last one.

Exclusions from the WARRANTY

The frame, of any value, will be not changed because of the natural obsolescence and deterioration of the same.

The guarantee will be not applied if the painting is dirty, or sooty. Therefore it's better to protect it with a glass, or preferably two glasses, (one before and one behind, sealed with silicon, particularly for the artworks not executed with oil).

The lithographies will be redelivered absolutely cleaned by any dirty (marks of fingers, dust, folds, etc.). Besides they will have the identical original sizes. In fact, many makers of frames for compensate small errors of cut, in relationship to the lithography, or sketch, or water-coluor, cut a strip of the work for adapt it to the frame. This is a serious damage, particularly for the lithographies that lose any commercial value.

In this case the maker of frames is possible to be cited to refund the value of the artwork. It is always preferable to frame the artworks on paper with the edges to sight.

Remember that in cabinet of the printings in big museums or collections of art, you may find the original lithographies on independent sheets. A collector, before acquiring a graphic artwork, compares this to prototype one. However, he, before puchasing, desires to see another identical lithography for the comparison.

For the artworks of jewlry, exspired the legal period of warranty (for defects of manufacture), the change will be not possible because of the normal consumption, particularly for rings and bracelets. This strain has, in fact, the disadvantage to destroy the subtle particulars of the decoration of the object.

PRECAUTIONS IN THE MAINTENANCE OF THE ARTWORKS OF PAINTING.

Since any color resists the ultraviolet radiation, deriving from the Sun or from lamps, the colors could fade immediately or after.

Particularly sensible to this radiation are the drawings, the water-colors, crayons and lithographies that can totally vanish. Therefore in the museums, or exposures of art, the illumination is strongly attenuated. You must remember that the mural manifestos after few days are literally invisible and the color of the cars parking outside change. This deterioration, to better reason, will be visible as much as colors are delicate.

Don't set painted or lithographies near windows under direct rays of the sun. You could remedy such disadvantages putting an ultraviolet filter over the painting. Therefore paintings executed with any technique,if faded, will be not substituted. These painted or lithographies demaged are excluded from the warranty also to "brief term."
Otherwise the artworks well protected in the shade will live forever.
