MARIO PELLEGRINETTI
Author of this site, belongs , in this year of 2018 , the third last generation
Pellegrinetti of our family living in Italy.
His full name is Mario Gian Carlo .
Born in Monzone of Fivizzano
(MS) August 9, 1930 , he lived in the birthplace until 1941 , in Aulla (MS) from 1941 to 1942 , in Massa 1942-1943 , in Camporgiano ( LU) from 1943 to the present.
A Camporgiano lives in Via del Forno n . 2 together with his wife Maria Anna (Marisa ) Mazzei . He has three children : Fabrizio
(born in 1953) who lives in Genova , Cinzia (born in 1958 ) and Olga (born in 1961 ) living in Camporgiano
Mario has a brother , Giorgio Guido , who lives in Monzone
(MS) . He died in Massa January 23, 2009.
Mario's father was Caesar , the eighth of eight children, all boys and
all lived until to become adults.
The mother was Lina Tortelli,
the first of two sisters , both married to a Pellegrinetti
.
A Monzone attended the first four elementary
grades and part of the fifth class , which then ended in Aulla
.
The examination for admission to secondary schools supported him in Pontremoli in the autumn session of the school year 1940/41
, because during the summer session was suffering from jaundice.
He attended the sixth grade in La Spezia in 1941/42 and was promoted .
Attended the seventh grade in 1942/43 in Massa Carrara,
where the family had moved , and the eighth grade in Castelnuovo Garfagnana in 1943/44
. In June of 1943 , in fact , the family had moved to Camporgiano
in the province of Lucca to escape the bombing raids that threatened Massa. At
that time his father Cesare and his brother Guido
were military , so the family consisted of himself, his mother Lina and his maternal grandmother Mariuccia
.
During the school year the affairs of Italy ( fall of Fascism , 8
September armistice , the constitution of the Italian Social Republic ) and the
early interest in the opposite sex distracted him from school , so that the
result was not good. He was not promoted but "postponed to October ."
Taken from the events of the war , he tried , unsuccessfully, to enlist
in the army Republican.
And there came the sad times of war in Garfagnana
, with grave danger of bombing . So much so that in the early days of January
1945 it was decided to move to in Minucciano in
house of his aunt Delfina
, who was left alone with her two daughters Anna and Mirella
, because the partisans had killed her husband Settimo
.
After the war and reunited the family in Camporgiano
, in our property "La Casetta" , she
endured all the hardships and privations of a difficult post-war period .
Guido had to finish college and graduate and Mario had yet to decide what
to do . The family, in fact, was in serious financial difficulties. In the
summer of 1945 he was able to take the exam in middle school and was promoted .
Then he began to study privately with the help of his brother and , in 1948 ,
Guido graduated in letters and Mario completed his secondary education elementary master .
Meanwhile he had begun to get involved in politics . In 1945, along with
four other guys had founded a section of "The Everyman " , a new
party created by just a playwright : Guglielmo Giannini, becoming its secretary. It was founded March 17,
1947 , with six others, the first
section of the Italian Social Movement .
After working a bit ' as a clerk , he went in the Navy , in the Battalion
"San Marco" .
On February 23, 1952 he married with Mazzei Marisa in the church of Our Lady of Montenero in Livorno .
After working for several years as a municipal employee , as a railroad
and as a substitute teacher , finally won a contest and took service in the
role of the school as a teacher October 1, 1955.
From 1956 to 1964 he was elected alderman in the town of Camporgiano .
In 1963 and 1968 he was a candidate for the Chamber of Deputies.
In 1965 he received the diploma of Orthophrenic
school with the highest honors at the Orthophrenic school "Stella Maris" in Calambrone ( Pisa). At the same school will be the teacher
of orthopedagogy and differential teaching for two
years.
On January 4, 1970 , won a contest , will begin his career as a school manager,
first in Montefiorino (Modena ), then in Bagni di Lucca , and finally , in
Piazza al Serchio (Lucca )
In 1987 he was candidated to the Senate of the
Republic.
On September 1, 1993 was retired with a seniority of more than 40 years .
In 1994 he was again a candidate for the Chamber of Deputies. It has never been
elected
In 1996 he was elected Provincial President of the National Alliance .
On February 23, 2002, he celebrated with
his wife Marisa " Golden Wedding " , that is, 50 years of marriage.
On 23 February 2007 he celebrated with his wife Marisa " Wedding Emerald
" that is, 55 years of marriage.
On February 23, 2013 is celebrated the " Diamond Wedding " on the
60th anniversary of his marriage to Marisa . And in February this 2018 solemnly
celebrated 65 years of marriage.
After retirement he devoted himself to historical research and became a
partner of the Foundation Historical Institute of R.S.I. and historical
researcher for the Foundation , devoting himself especially to the research of
the fallen. In 2003 he published the book
“Notes for a history of the civil war in Garfagnana
1943-1945 " with the Publisher Maria Pacini Fazzi of Lucca.
On August 9th of this year he turned
88 and received many wonderful greetings including the wonderful ones of
