In  The Bald Soprano two families meet: Smith and Martin.   The first discuss of the Bobby Watson's death, and about  his family where all are called Bobby Watson, males and females.

While the Martins wait to meet the Smiths, husband and wife discover that they already met probably on a train but none of them can recall it. A fireman comes in search for a fire. But the house is not burning. Satisfied, he asks about the Bald Soprano, who always comb herself as usual.
The chat among the families becomes very aggressive untill they all lose the possibility to express themselves through words. The final scene is spoken with sounds.
At the end the play starts from the beginning with the couples inverted.
