Simply 6SN7
A simple line preamplifier with 6SN7 octal triode cheap and fast to assemble. T.H.D. is about 1.5% @ 80Vpp. The drawback is an high output impedance. Best distortion figures can be obtained removing the cathode by-pass capacitor but worsening the already unfavorable output impedance.
